On 22.11.2011 the "European Regulation (EU) No.1169 / 2011 concerning the information of consumers about food (LMIV) was published. The provisions of the LMIV for allergen labeling became effective on 13 December 2014. A major change is the obligation to inform allergenic ingredients in bulk. Thus all gastronomic and food producing companies as well as the trade are obliged to provide this information!
