The Infection Protection Act
came into force on January 1, 2001.
It regulates the legal obligations for the prevention and control of infectious diseases and at that time superseded, among other things, the Federal Search Law. The law was amended on July 28, 2011, and the annual training requirement for food handlers has become mandatory and must be completed every two years. Infection control and education is part of self-monitoring.
Implementation and documentation of the regular instructions are thus part of the product liability. In the documentation according to DIN 10514, care must be taken to ensure that the certificate of participation in training is printed out and signed by both the trainer and the student, and stored centrally.
